been a while, hasn't it?

a held hand offers
more warmth than the chill wind can
ever rip away.

I have been remiss
in fitting words together
caught up with moving.

arrives in an unnoticed
slow warming of earth.

I love more than words
and speak more than just language,
giving you my heart.
