Can't he get it?
He's liked me for years
and I've always said no
it's never been good
and then finally
I give him one try,
one date,
and when at the end I tell him
"no, thanks"
he starts talking about some switch.
It's not a switch.
It's not some magical lever
that if you raise it right
I'm all over you.
It's just
he's not the right guy for me.
And I'm still not the right girl
but he keeps hanging on anyway.
